Sometimes I make myself this nutritious and energy boosting drink in the morning.  And it is certainly very simple and easy to make.  Anyone can do it.


Spirulina is a blue-green freshwater algae that is rich in protein and can help boost your immune system and regulate cholesterol and blood pressure levels.

 

Coconut water has been called by many ”Mother Nature’s sports drink" and is packed with vitamins and minerals, is anti-inflammatory and full of antioxidants.  Coconut water has been found to boost energy levels and increase metabolism in the human body. 

Recipe:

Put 2 glasses of coconut water in a blender, 
add 1 tsp spirulina, 
and blend until smooth and with a creamy froth on top.  

 

Try out this simple and energy boosting drink in the morning and perhaps skip your coffee instead.  It will do you good.
